AVS as a business model has all but been killed by the credit cards requirements and rules. Those AVSes that are left mostly appear to be more interested in upselling your surfer to something else rather than just being an AVS. Most of the majors either shut down entirely or became something else.

As a result, I junked off all the AVS sections and I haven't missed them a bit. If anything, it lowered the overhead of checking to make sure that not only were the sites compliant, but making sure that the AVS was compliant on a given day.
