That's almost exactly what I do... The first time I read the board each day there is usually 3 pages, sometimes 2. I go to page 3, scan the threads from the bottom up. If I see one that looks interesting I glance over at the author, and some times the number of posts. I seldom pay attention to which forum it's in.

Then I hit the back (thumb) button on my mouse, and do page 2, then page 1... then hit refresh to see if there are any new posts (I check the time of the last post first), then I 'mark all forums read'..... it's not as complicated as it sounds.... really
