I was a crossover from the old adult BBS community back in the 80s - I tried starting the web thing when it first appeared - even bought a good domain name that has since long gone - and due to personal issues had to drop the whole biz. Although some of my favorite memories are the people that the Hun used to list - because they actually posted links that they had nothing to do with - LOL - they just found an interesting pic gallery and gave it to him
 The other memory I have was of all of the "award" sites which I guess now is the equivalent of the trendy review sites with a twist. Of course a better correlation would be that those were the old PR link sales pages  except that Google didnt exist but traffic trading was the key to success. |
