Opinions on movie previews

Yeah - if you have multiple bandwidth options inside the members area, then I'd offer them in the tour as well.

What about load time of the tour pages, with all the preview images it says it will take about 50 seconds over 56k. I have been spoilt with cable for to long do you think that’s excessive?

It's a bad idea to put low quality clips, make them clear and nice.

My 3 best selling sites have 6 clips at 360 x 240 512KBS WMV. (15-30 sec each)

I also have 3 more sites with just one single but longer clip of the same quality and they do well also. Of these one has 3 sizes: 180x120, 360x240, and 720x480 super hi as I offer all 3 sizes inside for members.

My next tour design I will probably go with the 6 movie style with all 3 qualities about 15 - 20 secs each.

My advice if you only use one quality, make it decent as not to make surfers think you have shitty vids.

Can see your point BV, my clips vids are at 360*240 with the lower being 256k and hi at 600k. I was concerned that if I use the higher a 10-20 sec clip will be 1-2 meg which surfers might get pissed downloading before they even see it.
