Staten Island ferry crash

many a summer afternoon was spent just riding the ferry for 25 cents 1-way..with my son..we used to pretend we were pirates or deep sea fishermen or captain ahab.. and always rewarded ourselves with a soft icecream from the in terminal vendors on the SI side..

on the way back we'd share a few laughs at the expense of the staten island girls with their huge bouffed hair in front and 1 strand down the back.. LMAO.. *see working girl with melanie griffin for example*..

but most spectacular was the view returning to manhattan...with WTC looming over everything...

last i heard the pilot fell asleep at the wheel...
