sorry - didn't see this post until just now... was on vacation for the past few weeks.. thx to mike for pointing it out for me..

i see it looks like the deal is dead, but here's the advice i'd've given even if you were buying a site from my best friend.. handle everything through escrow.. protect your ass.. if u can, have a mutual friend act as escrow.. if not, use a site/service which can check DNS resolution..
