Happy Radio Show Tuesday

Good Morning
Well, my Grandmother and I have yet 2 more nursing homes to look at today. We went to 3 of them yesterday and of course, she hated them all.

I should be around most of the day but, who the hell knows?

Morning perves and pervettes. I got a full night sleep and WAS feeling fine this morning. That was until I read my email to see that a certain sponsor is promoting Sponsor Shat via their newsletter. Now I'm going to have to spend the rest the day pacing and wondering how people can be so ignorant.

Christ!

Good Tuesday Everyone

UW - I got that newsletter too - I was in the process of getting it set up to be included in our Webmaster News but once I saw that, I just deleted it.

I also got a newsletter from another borderline sponsor that they've released a new version & when I looked in their admin, the link codes have fucking changed again.

I might spend the morning pulling 2 sponsors from my links

OH! Yesterday started what seems to be our annual "Destroy The Yard With Heavy Machinery" season - the gutters on the house suck ass, so we're gonna redo all of them & put the spouts into the ground, which means digging up long trenches all over the place. The sidewalk in front of the house is in the way & it's all cracked up & whatnot, so they yanked that & a new one is being poured Thursday I think.

We're also getting some new windows, all new doors on the house & a new roof on the Pool House. I just fucking love pouring money into my property

Morning all -
Should be around most of the day.
Rainy, wet, soggy here.
Spent most of the night making sure the sump pump was working, so I'm thinking nap time pretty soon.

When I look back at my life all I see is trips to Home Depot it seems like.

On my continuing quest to rid my backyard of rotting decking today I ripped out yet another large section. Found out why lots of times after a bad storm I get a sewer line clog. Found an open sewer line clean out under the deck where all the water and dirt would run into my sewer line. Off to Home Depot to get a 3" clean out cover. I also need some chain for the swing and hammock to lower them since now with the deck gone they are too high off the ground.

I've got a bit over half the deck torn out and in a huge pile on the side of my house. I'm hoping to get all of it ripped out this month before the weather gets real hot. Not sure what I'm going to do with the huge pile of rotting boards that was my deck. It's on the side of my house behind the fence out of sight so no hurry to do anything with it, but it has become a huge pile and is growing by the day.

Off to Home Depot I go…

why not burn them? if you burn 2 or 3 at a time the flames wont get too big and you can just keep adding a new one daily.

I wonder what the laws are about building a big bon fire on my property down here?

Maybe hire some talent to dance around it and do obscene things in the name of art.

Cleo is the wood from the deck treated wood?
Cuz if so you don't want to burn that inside the house.

Yes I do but it doesn't hold ten foot long boards and about 2000 square feet of them. I guess I could spend like a month or so cutting them up and then burning them should take a bit over a year or so but I don't have a lot of need for fireplace heat living in south Florida.

Yeah it is arsenic pressure treated wood. The kind that causes cancer and is banned in many places.

The smell of arsenic burning in the fireplace while the A/C is cranked down to forty degrees…

Cleo -
Get a 25.00 circular saw.
Cut the boards into 3 pieces.. don't bother measuring just cut.
Perfect Outside lumber for a fire.
Even a small 36" fire will burn 20-100 pieces per night.
Well ok, 200+ on those 5am things.
Nothing wrong with burning it, and you should be able to in your your backyard, just call the city to find out the codes.
Our's is 36" or 48x24".

There shouldn't be a smell, if so, just make the fire hotter.

Well, ok, it's colder up here!
You think I buy firewood??? lol

You all northern country folks.

I live in the city, a very hot and humid one, where if you even have a smoky BBQ the fire department shows up because some neighbor called them.

I'll take a pic of the pile once I get it all carted off to the side of my house with a big sign that reads "Free Firewood".
