I can think of one sponsor that has been specializing in solo-girl amateur sites forever.

"conversions and retention"
Some people basically fall in love with the girls and stay members for years.

"niche"
Everything from girl-next-door softcore types like Tawnee Stone to BDSM types like Hell Kitten.

As long as they are actively involved in the site on a day-by-day basis, Blogs, Chat room, Message boards, Surfer contests, etc. the retention stays pretty high.

Not sure about solo-guy sites, although I remember one WM that runs their own gay cam site says similar.
