Free movie sites -vs- free pic sites
I have 3 and almost 4 free movie sites. But, it seems that most of you all have pic sites? I get 2,000 gig bandwidth a month and could probably host one of those pic sites, most of my movies are from content providers, so they aren't on my bandwidth.
I'd like to hear some views on this. My goal is the same as everyone, I really have no preference myself, just want to maximize my profits. If you know the biz, please feel free to fill me in on whatever you care to share

Most people promote sponsors that only provide sponsor content in picture formats.

Most link lists won't accept sites that have the content (movies or pics) on another domains (like sponsor hosted movies)

This is a really good question, I want to look at movies though its a bandwidth issue for me too. Im slowly working my way up the hosting packages, increasing my connection speads etc.
I kind of see the lead from pics to films for me is still atleast 9 - 12 months away unless I want to start running at a loss. Recently I started looking at TGP'ing too but again its an unknown quantity to me which comes with a cost. Like you I like to make a profit so for now I am sticking to pictures. May be you can make a ladning page which you direct your free sites too, then you can have movies on your sponsors server. I do this here - http://www.smithslookup.co.uk/inbedw...faith/main.htm I was forced to do it as the sponsor changed programe and I was left chaning hundresd of bits of code :-( now everything I have goes there and I have just a hand full of codes to change. Its been 12 months or so that I started webmastering fulltime, I dont make a living from just affiliate sales alone (I just over $1,500 pcm) yet so I perform tasks for other companies. What I am acheiving by taking things slowly is growth and an increase on revenue each month. All I can say to you about the business is its tough, competition opens up everyday & sponsors that are 'by invite only' will make you more money. |

Yeah by far movie sites convert much better than pic sites especially when combined with an AVS full of premium movie content and/or if you have live cam feed or video of a cam chick. A pic series is cool, but nothing beats video action
