Have you ever taught a friend how to do 'this'? - Page 2

I used to teach new technology to people all over the world. They were business people that needed to know what I was teaching. I've tried to teach a few friends that have asked but it was useless. They generally couldn't focus on work unless someone was pushing them for deadlines and they often got way too excited about the content.

I'm not sure that I will ever attempt to teach someone about this business unless they already work for themselves and have the computer skills needed.

I stopped mentioning the buisness to friends and offering to get them started. They all want in but have nothing to contribute. One has said he'd start by taking my work, modify it, and use it as his own.

Maybe it's just my friends who are lazy bastards.
