Hey Jenc,
I'd say for some adult folks 6 months would be a marathon! I've seen some blogs implode at the 30 day mark. Its important to keep a good track of the blogs you've done link exchanges with for this reason. I use www.bloglines.com that way I can see who has updated when  If its been too long, they get a gentle nudge. if its still been really long they get the axe  |

When Torn 1st suggested starting a LJ account, I wasn't too sure. So I would have more interaction with my members and let them get to know me on a more personal level.
I'm more of a face to face person with my life, so it made me nervous, besides what to talk about. It is not like it is known to the public what my day job is and it takes up a good portion of my life. After a while it has become an outlet for my venting (last yr's elections as an example) and for my thoughts. Sometimes I'm afraid it may get hum-drum but then this adminstration always has something in the news to set me off.  I'll have some sort of online journal/blog for 3 yrs in Nov. |
