I seem to remember that it is called the sun and if you lay under it a long time you end up this rather painful shade of red. Speaking of which I'm heading out the beach for a hour or os this morning.

How sad is it when you wake up mad thinking "the wife left a light on" when she left and it woke you up and it takes you a few minutes to realize it's the sun?

2 weeks of near constant rain has made me forget how bright it really is down here.

We had a friend that went into the guest bathroom which has a skylight, and he couldn't figure out how to turn the light off.

When we first moved down, they left these cloth vertical blinds and the house is laid out just right so the morning sun focuses right on my eyes. Well, it seemed like it anyway. So, one of the first things we did was get PVC vertical blinds and while it isn't dark, it isn't nearly as annoying. When the Hurricane Shutters are up, now that's dark. Great for watching movies.

For me, just shuffling more data today.
