Hotlinking to images from a page hosted on your site doesn't get you around having to maintain 2257 records. The page displaying the images is still being published on your site. Linking to hosted galleries is about the only way around maintaining 2257 records for galleries with sexually explicit images, and it better be a text link or a thumb made from a non-explicit photo set.

Toby - think about what you just said - and then think about what a sponsor who had a head on their shoulders would do - I know the first thing I would be doing is offering a sponsor free host and offer to host all of the content right on my sponsor server - that way the content never goes anywhere else and the affiliates still get to submit - of course convincing the TGPs and LLs to take sponsor hosted stuff might get in the way a little but Im sure that could be overcome with some guarantees from the sponsor.
There are ways to make this stuff work for you instead of against you |
