Geo filtering on free and avs sites

I just wanted to ask you veterans if you filter your sites using geo filtering or will adding some php code to my sites end me up in a blacklist forever.

I have been thinking of using geo filtering on tgp, avs and free sites but thought would ask some people who have alot of years experiance.

I have alot of wasted bandwidth looking at my stats, and could use the redirection to my advantage.

How's that Hong Kong crocodile doing?

Not all webmasters are based in North America, some reviewers don't live in the same country as the site owner so you could end up with problems.

If you do this, please leave Western Europe out of it. There's a load of credit card users in Western Europe including the UK.

2 weeks and its still on the loose, they are hiring some australian expert to come and to catch it. I cant believe that is on news outside hong kong.

The main countries are china, russia, indian, pakistan, i dont plan to throw them to asian friend finder like most sponsers seem to be doing, i just think alot of traffic is getting wasted and could use the traffic more wisely.

Be careful - one of my reviewers does travel to Asia often & if he gets redirected, he's got instructions to delete, remove & blacklist

I dont do it, just wanted opinion from other webmasters and site owners. I seen alot of it going on these days with paysites but i guess thats a different kettle of fish.

alot of sponsors are starting to do this with paysites, so people posting galleries , free , avs using sponsors which redirect could cause a ban say if the site owner is in europe for example

as im in hong kong i get it all the time. I was looking to promote orgasmcash.com and they redirect everything that isnt from usa or canada, there sites look good and have $1 trials, but if i used them i would soon be blacklisted and think the same for CE and some other big sponsors.

i think more and more geo ip filtering will start to happen.
