The Official Why Didn't My Site Get Listed At Javes Thread

Hey, I just resubmitted my site, not sure if your script took it though, after I clicked on the "add my link" button, it just took me back to the recip page. Could you check if you received it, thanks.

Hi UW,

I didn't realise that was not allowed, i thought that was allowed to link to a bit of sponsor movie content, without it counting as being on another domain.

Sorry about that, i'll make sure i stop doing that in future.

I'm not sure how others deal with that situation. I'm pretty picky about the "all content on the site's domain" rule. I don't even like seeing banners being hotlinked from sponsors who allow it. I can be pretty picky some days. Honestly, it can be a roll of the dice. Sometimes I'll ignore it and move on while other days I get pretty picky about rules. I'm very passive-aggresive.

Found it. The script definately pulled a 'WTF' and put it somewhere else, but I found it and have it listed now. http://javes.com/amateurs/ Not sure if you'll get an acceptance email. I think the script is as moody as me.

I have that problem once too..I just resubmited my site...What should I do in future if that happens? Post it here?

I don't mind you having a mainstream sponsor as your exit link, but I do not like the fact that you used text to encourage an interest in it. Even though counting that link as one of your allotted links out doesn't push you to your limit, I felt pissy enough about it to decline your site. An exit is not meant to be promoted.
