Anyone know how to do this?

Does anyone know how to do this or is it even possible?

I want to take some html files using a program (which one?) and make a list in a html page.

For example, I want to take html files from folder1 and then take all the files from folder1 and make a html page which displays links to these html files.

From folder:

folder1/file1.html
folder1/file2.html
folder1/file3.html

to html page:

file1 link
file2 link
file3 link

Hi Allan

Macromedia HomeSite does this with a simple drag and drop. It will not only place the links for you but name them after each html file name.

You can get a free 30 day trial here.

I hope this helps!

I haven't upgraded to CS yet, I've heard good things about. I hear it finally supports long file names.

I've upgraded to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in Adobe Creative Suite CS. I love the text on curves in the new Photoshop. ImageReady seems a lot faster. I haven't really gotten a chance to use Illustrator CS yet, but I did notice that it doesn't have the options to save to older formats, same with InDesign.

Anyway I'll probably upgrade to GoLive CS soon.

Thanks Netpiddler, Cleo and art.

I'll check those programs out.

I was going to answer this earlier but was afraid I had misread the question. Based on the answers, it looks like I did.

But, Allan, if those proggies don't do what you need, PHP can be your best friend. Let me know if you don't find what you're looking for.

Hey Mishi.

I got done what I needed to do using HomeSite and it's "search and replace" function.
