Price in the sales text

You'll probably see fewer click throughs and somewhat better ratios. Having the price there helps filter out the real free loaders that aren't going to buy no matter what. On the flip side, it might also inhibit the impulse buyer from ever clicking.

Something else to consider is that some surfers may not realize they can see some of the good stuff for a few bucks. Which again does make a case for including the price.

If the sponsor has a low priced trial I sometimes use it in my sales pitch, but I can't really say that I've noticed any difference in conversions one way or the other.

To get any solid conclusions you would have to analyze your stats very carefully over a period of time and many other factors would probably influence the result.
