What was I thinking??
I must have been nuts to start a link list!! I figured it would be good for my own free sites and my sponsors sites. Had no idea I would run into so much crap though!
Two people are submitting about 20 sites to me every day all the same and break every rule I have. Then I have the people who make a great website. But they submit content from the same sponsor every day, and promote the same site. I don't mind listing a few of them, but I think to many will bore my surfers. Am I'm right in thinking this way?? Sorry felt the need to rant!! I use links 2.0 and don't see any where I can block the auto submitters. I do have some great submitters that send me great sites all the time. I know they know who they are and I thank them for the great sites..  |

 let's start a rant!  I've been feeling exactly the same thing the last couple of days. I know we're small but there's some of us in here for the long haul so you good submitters out there don't forget us! my pet peeves at the moment: - templates templates templates! - incorrect recips to mine or other LLs - crappy grammar & spelling (not just normal stuff, I mean when you go WTF??) - sites subbed to the category of the sponsor, not the content no matter how many times I see these things posted about here, people keep doing it. No wonder everyones so cranky It's harder when you're just starting out, a lot of us are doing stuff by hand so even 30 subs/day is a lot. When you only list 5 of those you gotta shake your head. I bet you big guys are just laughing your heads off at us now, aintcha |

ponygirl and sue-fl I heard through the grape vine if your a women try reviewing with pantyhose and combat boots on, it will help ward off the cheats LMAO
No really thats the way it is and have a feeling its gonna get worse IMO |

Yep, it has been getting worse recently.
Just finished reviewing over 60 sites...less than half of them were acceptable. Tons of blind links, sites that dont' fit at 800x600, and color schemes so bad...it was almost painful On another note, I want to say 'THANK YOU!' to all my regular submitters that send quality sites day after day! You folks rock and are greatly appreciated |

Glad I'm not alone!! I hear ya ponygirl I had 79 submits yesterday and think I might have listed 10.....
RedCherry will look into getting a mod to block certain urls, Thanks! Plateman....LOL if it would work I'd put on pantyhose and combat boots! But then I'd never get anything done, as knowing hubby as I do he would like that a little to much.... Spelling errors LOL I get a lot of that, but I'm the worst speller on earth so..... |
