How the Hell do you build up huge traffic?

traffic is one thing sales is another, big traffic does not equal more sales, better traffic does, trade with your niche only and keep things fresh

YuuFuu: Great looking site, how do you get traffic? I didn't see any links, if you ever decide to link to other sites I'd gladly trade links.

Black Crayon: I live in South Bend, Indiana. This isn't my full time job, I've just been doing it since June. No way I could live off $400 a month. I'd like to make this my full time job; my goal is at least $100 a day before I consider telling my boss to fuck off.

Any ideas on how to get better SE traffic?
