Some spammers send out bots that will read your entire site for just email addys I guess they get them by looking for the @ symbol. I have yet to remove mine on my site but does seem like a smart idea to help stop the mail from filling up.

Yep, solid advice there Jugg
I stopped posting linked mail addys on sites a long time ago for that very reason.
