What do you guys all think of good, niche focused, text recip links?

I would much prefer to see my link on a page with 12-16 other text links. I havent found many linklists that will not let you use the anchor text from their recips without the tables and colours they use in their recips. Just as long as you use the text and links provided. I don't like to comment on seo here so I will leave that to some 'expert' lol.

Thanks again for all the insight guys. I have been submitting with 12 text recips for the past week and looks like I'm getting listed ok. I'm going to watch my stats for the next week or so and see who doesn't list me, and then re-work my recip tables based on that. I'm still settling into the grove, working on decent templates, and planning on adding more LL's into the mix. Thanks to those who've listed me so far. I'm getting better results from this than I did from TGP, so I'm glad I'm doing it.
