Now I am in two minds about this. On one hand I would prefer to see this sort of thing in the hands of smaller companies, when people as big as Google get into it they tend to end up with a monopoly because no one else can touch their client base or advertising power. On the other hand I am so sick of bad service from eBay and PayPal that I am desperate to see good alternatives to them.
