Regarding the issue of "updating" previously submitted free sites, which of the following would constitute an acceptable update insuring the continued listing and not resulting in the gallery being deleted, or worse, at a majority of link lists? Also, would any of the following require an e-mail notification to the LL owner?

1. Replacing pictures in the galleries/warning page with different ones from the same set of the same subject.

2. Replacing pictures in the galleries/warning page with a different subject, but same niche and/or subject matter so as not to necessitate a change in the site description.

3. Replace a recip or two

4. Changing sponsor banner/text, still keeping within the allotted 2 or 3 maximum link limit.

5. Changing color, basic design elements around a bit, but keeping the same galleries, recips, etc.

The bottom line is what are the minimum requirements to have a site considered "updated". Am I missing the point, or if a person has to take the time to add all new content to an existing site, it would seem to be more effective time and traffic wise to just go ahead and build a new site, with new fresh listings and just assume the risk that the old one eventually will be deleted, i.e. build, submit, and forget.

Any and all opinions appreciated.
