I need to move my title and description below my banner. what file do i need to mod?

Try the header template. Click on Presentation/Theme Editor.

Just try moving things around and see what happens. That's what I do when I'm trying to change something in code I'm not familiar with. Just make sure you back up the file first

Or you could just delete the description from the "Tagline" field under options in your admin.

yes i was thinking about just deleting it however i think that the text will help with search engine indexing
