Thanks guys. I didn't want to call anyone out in case I was just crying over spilled milk since it's only the recip table and not my designs. I'm just a bit touchy about it today because the guy has deprecated HTML tags throughout his site while I try to use only valid XHTML. The reason why I bring this up is that this morning I got a rejection notice because my recip table went wayyy off the side of the screen. This would only happen if the CSS was not proper.

So, I'm wondering if the owner of the link list meant to reject a site other than mine because when I checked my site in 4 different browsers, the table rendered fine. This person also promotes the same sponsors as me, so a rejection like this would be an honest mistake on the part of the reviewer.

So true. While I don't know what LL owners have to deal with I reckon it is similar to when I reviewed galleries for my old TGP.

I hope no one took it as I was bashing on the reviewer. I'm grateful for all the free traffic I can get and wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. My main goal is just to submit what owners actually want to approve. Win - Win right there. I know recips are important to the LL owners, so I want to make sure I'm doing it right.

And you have every right to be pissed about someone pilfering your code. Now that you've brought this issue to light, I'll be on the lookout in my admin for anyone using exact dups of your table...I actually kinda like banning cheating scum

Thanks a lot Mr. Yum. It's always good to get feedback of any kind, since I'm still working on making my templates as good as I can and tweaking little things here and there. I appreciate the listings too.

I would be posting one of my sites and a link to one of theirs so that the LL owners can see who the cheater is - that is definitely something we would ban that other person for so dont feel bad calling them out - we have had LL owners do similar things where they copied another LLs recips and we got together and posted here we wouldnt accept free sites that had recips to these other LLs

- we would definitely appreciate the info

Well - you might want to clear your cache and take a look at your sites again

Weird- the site looks good to me in both Firefox and IE at 800x600. Maybe it falls to shit at higher resolutions.

Yea...very strange...just checked it in IE and FF...looks fine here too at 800x600 and 1280x1024.

I looked at it in 3 different resolutions from 800 up to 1200 - I think its more that a lot of us have text size in IE set at smaller - wheras it looks like if you set the text size to medium it gets rid of the scroll - and places the text centered back on the page - but that also tells me that something is wrong in the CSS

Thanks for the screen shot Linkster. Someone was kind enough to send me one in Opera the yesterday as well. I'm going to find out why this is the case as I've checked it in IE, FF, Opera, and Avant. But, the screenshots don't lie. I really appreciate you taking the time to post that, and will look into my CSS a bit.

Linkster, thanks for the suggestion about the font resizing. I just played with the css and font sizes in different browsers and it apperears I just didn't leave enough room for line breaks at smaller text sizes between the element above the recip and the recip area. A few extra line breaks provided the necessary room for font resizing while keeping the recip div within the container div. You guys all kick ass. Thanks for the help.

Now, if everyone will give me a list of the browsers and versions they use to review sites, along with font size defaults, OS being used and bra size where applicable, I can make sure I achieve the ultimate in cross browser compatibility. (j/k)
