the purpose of link trades, not to be confused with traffic trades, (This is not a traffic trade, so dont expect any) is to boost the pagerank of both ppl trading links. the links dont have to be above your enter link or in any prominent place at all. Shit dude, bury them at the bottom of the page with 2px text if ya want, but the main thing is to have the links there. 1 part of Google's spidering and indexing pages relys on whos page is linked to whos. If your "page A"pr1 site is linked to my"page B" pr4 site, google see that "page A" must be important because it is linked to "page B"resulting in a higher page rank for you.

However all this may change in the next few weeks, the rumors flying around are that Google is changing the way they index pages but no one, and I mean NO ONE knows whats gonna happen cept for google.

And if joe surfer is clicking on a link on your index page, he should be clicking on a sponsor link and totally bypassing your whole link list. If i could get every surfer to click my index sponsor link i would be rich. But they dont, and im not. According to my webstats they are clicking on the enter link to my linklist or my fake tgp. Very little, if any are clicking on the table of links i have below my enter buttons.

BTW...take a look at Pornkooks and mine pagerank...it didnt get that way by some kinda magic trick. It got that way by cleaver seo and link trades. Most of us running linklists haven't had them up for the amount of time Greenguy has had his running. He has 1000's of sites and domains pointing to his and his name alone is huge. Most of us havent been around that long and are doing everything in our power to move up in the rankings, not only search engine rankings but word of mouth advertising.

You telling me to change my site is like me tellin greenguy not to use banners cause nobody clicks em. What works for one may not work for another. This biz is in a constant state of change so what may have worked on day may not work today. I am in the middle of totally redesigning my freesite templates. My old ones are just not converting like before, but im not gonna keep using the same templates. Ya gotta change, go with the flow, and the flow right now is link trades. That may change next week but at the least ive networked with a bunch of other webmasters with whom i never would have met without thrading links. Whos to say what these partnerships will bring in the future. Some may flourish, some may fade away, and others will by ridin the pymp train to the bank. All i gots to say is ....All Aboard!!

I have put your link in the webmaster/submit area of the my site so maybe you will get some submissions to your list.
