You may have to swallow your pride and take it to a computer place where some certified people can fix it for you.

If you dont fine the problem and need more help you can do two things
one get hijackthis and run it to see what if finds

next you can do ctrl alt Del then click the processes tab write down everting running. If you want you can even send me the results or post them and I will look to see what I can find that doesnt belong there. I have had to do this several times when anti virus and adware removers dont work to find a problem.

You've probably tried it already, with XP Pro CTRL ALT SHIFT will do the same thing without blanking the screen and taking you to logoff options.
