The few pics you do have are really old (over used) and grainy.

Your thumbs are very bad, looks like you have compressed them to much. Also I find your thumbs to be a bit misleading on your main and gallery pages, I look down on that others mightn't but i do.

I think you also need to look at your content and the site your trying to push..........

Yeah - its not so much the pic content - I ripped those from a TGP gallery I did about oooh 3 years ago so the data has probably worn out hence the grainy effect (just kiddin!)! More the layout and crap like that. I am gonna want to get something sorted as a template - it will always have a 'hostess' who will change with the niche cos I think traditional entry pages look bare without some kind of graphic - even if she has to be clothed and decent!

You're going to have a problem with those banner ads on the Main and Gallery pages. The ones that look like 3 thumbnails. Alot of LL owners won't allow anything that looks like thumbnails that lead to sponsor sites. It doesn't matter that there's blinking "click to visit our sponsor" text over them. Those will get you declined at quite a few sites.

Thanks for the constructive criticism. that was something I hadnt thought of. I will rework them to look more like traditional banners when I get time later today or tomorrow.

Yeah I have always thought that. For the sake of a 30K graphic or two that gets downloaded once per visit u may as well make it look nicer. Just my taste and probably not everybodies. But then I dont have a hosting/bandwidth bill to pay...lol.

Thanks Dave... funnily enough I am actually making $$... odd that. In fact from 3 programs I run that have been going for 3 years plus I am making more $$$ than when I was a professional engineering manager so it just goes to show eh?

Not all of what I do is on display here, remember I have been doing this on and off for quite a while. I never joined the regular online community here B4 though I lurked for ages under another ID simply because I was doing fine with what I was doing and saw no reason to go 'conventional'. My more recent sites I am not putting too much effort into as yet simply because the 'sandbox effect' does not warrant it and though I did look at buying traffic the two 10K trials I did on one of my old sites convinced me it was a waste of time. I will simply wait for them to mature search engine wise and tinker with them over the next six months while I lay down the foundation for network2 once I decide where I am going with that.

I am looking at maybe doubling my income by adding a second network to the first and I am toying with doing it 'conventionally' simply on the basis it may not be such hard work though, I cannot say till I have gained some experience doing it 'your way'.

If you look for a couple of large sites that generate a lot of traffic and you dont know who owns them because they dont trade traffic outside my network1 sites then maybe you can figure out what I run and why my network1 is split between Porn and non-porn sites. If you can figure out how I actually extract $$ from those surfers then I will send you on a free holiday to Hawaii because its not obvious and nobody (least of all the surfers) have figured it out yet, hence my reticence in talking about network1 since I need a LOT of circulating traffic for it to work and dont want any competition. In fact most of what I do with network1 nowadays is watch for traffic leaks and try to plug them.

I stopped lurking because I figured it was about time I gave something back to the community which over the two years I have been here (since recieving an email from a member of this board who does know something of my business) has taught me a reasonable amount. In fact it was an innocent question posted by a Newbie here on one of my first visits that set me thinking and led to my getting my first network really generating cash as opposed to 1/1000 conversions.

Occasionally over the last year or so I have helped people on this board in one way or another, even taken on some little jobs for some of them, charging way less than I ought (including the figure 0) for no other reason than I feel like it. In short I am an individualist. If rules are there I will comply with them to the extent I think they should be complied with . Sometimes that gets me into trouble, sometimes that gets me nowhere, but surprisingly often it makes me $$$.

Hell I will continue spouting till somebody kicks me off the board. If thats an invitation for a ban then so be it. I will just go back to lurking under my old ID.
