Think it also depends on if your talking about just listing blogs or listing feeds with updating.

Actually, that's a script I would love to find. One that worked much like your basic linklist directory but had the ability to add RSS feeds as well. Something that on the main page would parse out the most popular feed from each category and then when you went down into the various categories and sub-categories, it would display the top ten feeds of each category/sub-category along the way. And, of course, you could always "preview" a site before visiting.

I thought Newstopica was that script but in the end it didn't work and I couldn't get any support out of them to get it functioning the way I needed.

Then again, I haven't went looking for that script in quite a while and I've got so many irons in the fire that even if it fell out of the sky, I couldn't even think of doing anything with it for 6 months.

hhmm... there might be something there. Maybe time to work on adding on to my script..
