Bloggers Help Yourself & The FSC

You may not be political but you sure could help to convince the FSC to take WM's more seriously and see that we have a larger voice in the positions that FSC develops that affect YOU. Even if you're outside the USA your support could have a favorable impact down the road. In a good faith effort to tickle the FSC towards an improved website presence and respect for the numbers that can be reached through our electronic frontier, its been suggested that adult WM's could at least text link to:

Send 'em some traffic and show them you care. Every little bit counts.

To the first ten blogs that put up a text link, I'll do what little I can to get you a link back by giving you a recip free listing in my new, humble LL. It just jumped open but I promise your link will stay there!

I fail to see where sending "surfer" traffic to the FSC website is going to accomplish anything. Their site isn't set up to inform the general public, they can barely keep their own members updated on the most recent news at this point.

It makes much more sense to put an FSC link on a webmaster page, if you have one.

Dj, while I do appreciate your enthusiam, I personally think it is the FSC who needs to extend the olive branch. We, as webmasters have pro-offered both services and the idea of perhaps taking up a collection to assist the FSC in modernizing and improving the website giving them a true web presence. That offer appears to have fallen on deaf ears.

Additionally, I've witnessed nothing more than a little lip service from the FSC, to date.

I only want to give the heads up to Bloggers that might not have seen the other threads and perhaps get them involved with the linking effort and other debates as we try to figure out how to bring the FSC closer to us.
