You can now put whatever you want in this space :)

Fonz, yeah, I see your point. Maybe add a rule (oops, did I say that???) that your recip should be of the same type as other recips in the table and if they use the colorful designed ones for other LL's they should use yours as well? Just thinking aloud here.
Matuez, I think that if you don't designate the colors of your links they should come up the same as any link on the page. I use CSS for my designs anyway, so having internal style or font tags is redundant ![]() UW - yes, I do come up with text links of my own, even if you won't provide them, but your LL had better have very good traffic to be worth my time for it. I will test, and move on if I'm not happy. Yes, I will test and move on, not only based on your links design but my point is that if you make it easier for me and save me time as a submitter, I will be more likely to try your LL for longer. Give me a hard time, and I will move on more quickly. Sure, you may be overflooded with wonderful surely gorgeous free sites and don't need mine, so cool, I'll move on. As for the readbale, or unreadable confirmation codes, isn't there some level where computers can read it but us mortals can do it with ease? I can't tell you how frustrating it is to fill in a form, then get stuck on that code, get the wrong one then get bounced back to the form which is now empty and need to be filled in again... yes, happened to me only yesterday and guess what, I just went on to another LL...

Well, as a link list owner and free site builder, I also sometimes make custom recips. However, it only takes a second for me to right click on the links in recip tables, copy and paste. No time lost there.

#1 I agree 100% with what Fonz said. I have in my rules, that I love custom recips, but you know how lame it is when mine is the only simple text link on a page filled with standard recips. It has happened, and I let it slide, but it's lame.
#2 My linklist does have a couple of extra fields. One in particular is # of pics like you mentioned. But my LL also displays that info to the surfers, so you don't want to fill that in, then be my guest, but the links above and below yours are going to say 30 pics, 20 pics, and yours will say 0 pics. Which one is going to get clicked. Besides, when I used to build free-sites, I'd know how many pics I had just dropped into that site, especially as I numbered them to keep them in the correct order, doesn't seem like that big of a request on my end. #3 No comment as it doesn't pertain to my list, I have a login system though, another step to keep webmasters honest. And I know that has kept certain submitters away from my site, but it's also kept the majority of cheats away too, so I'll stick with it. I can understand your frustrations, but it's all part of the game we have to play to keep people honest. Too many cheats out there. |

#2) Agree with Annette except the pic/video counts and keywords as Preacher mentioned. #3) Agree with Annette. Most (not all) confirmation codes are images that can be resized. Same applies to text. Why make them so damn small? Most (not all) confirmation codes do not use alpha "O" and are not case sensitive anyway. Anything 'round' is usually a numeric "0" (zero) |
