Free sites VS galleries only.

Hello everyone, another noob here just curious what you prefer, free sites? or galleries only? or neither? From what I get free sites offer a chance of actually helping your SE rankings while galleries which are usually not as text intensive offer little in the way of helping in this regaurd. Is it true you should also just make free sites then forget them? And focus primarily on quantity?

I plan on making 2 free sites a day and submitting them to LL and other relevant traffic sources. I look forward to making some freinds here and welcome any and all critiques.

In my opinion the best way for someone to get started in this biz is to build some galleries and try to get them listed on TGP's once you start getting them listed then you can take a couple of galleries (boob galleries for example) and put them together with and index and main page for a free site. So you have one thing feeding the other. Of course that what I would recommend. Others may have other good suggestions. Good Luck

Welcome, just a heads up, many LL's only allow one submit a day. So...if I were you, I'd make one a day and spend the rest of the day working on other projects like, hubs, seo pages, or galleries.

thanks for the heads up, I was actually going to submit to entirely different LL's with each site. One teen HC to one group of LL, and a latin to some others who are more predisposed toward that type of traffic.

surfn, thanks for the kind words. It's good to find a forum populated more by individuals wishing to better themselves than become involved in childish pissing matches, which benefit neither party.

Yep, good advice from Surfn

Creating galleries for TGP, then 'harvesting' them to build free sites is a solid way to start out. Or, you can do it the other way around and strip galleries out of free sites to submit to TGP's. Either way, both are traffic sources and you might as well utilize both as long as you have sufficient b/w to burn.

But also, that is correct that some (most) link lists only allow one submission per day per webmaster. This can be for many reasons, but generally doing one a day is a good start. For my link directory (not a link list

) I don't place limits right now and usually review sites within 24 hours. So if you decide to submit 1000 a day to us, it might take more than 24 hours to review them all...lol

My advice is that gallery sites will always provide you with some search engine potential, but if you can, try to be creative with your designs because the one thing most LL's are tired of are the same old style every day, every month, every year....dare to be different but at the same time, try to stay within the typical guidelines of design.

1. Warning page
2. Gallery site map page
3. gallery 1
4. gallery 2

a. no blind or misleading links
b. Enter button below the recip tables
c. galleries in sequence (girl with cloths on, then girl no clothes on)
d. at least 10 pics per gallery

There's lots more to the list, and hopefully I will get my butt in gear and write out the tutorials I will have in my webmasters section. As for galleries, I know most will say and agree, build your galleries, submit to TGP's etc, but also accompany these with Gallery Sites. It would also be nice to consider these as make and forget type sites, but once and while you may need to go back and update a site or two.

One piece of advice....its all about networking. Get to know your link list and link directory webmasters well and you won't have problems later. Try not to get into any arguments with anyone. If you ever have an issue with one, just say thank you for your time and move on to the next. No sense in creating more problems and stress for yourself, you are (or will be) very busy. Work this like an actual business because in a sense it really is a business. Build the sites and galleries for yourself and for your surfer in mind. Keep learning and reading from the forums and ask tons of questions...

thanks for the great advice Netgoonie. That is all I have been doing for the past 7 weeks, reading and learning about 4-6hrs a day while taking notes. I came to the conclusion in the very beggining that by just doing what I already do naturally and treat people well, I will hit my sales goals faster and be able to help others out as well.

I live to learn, to be honest with you I am having more trouble getting my server set up and learning CSS than the business and networking stuff. Getting listed and following directions is something so simple it almost defies belief.
