Well, the manufacturer just called me. They are sending a wonder cleaner that they say will most likely remove the scratches. They said if the scratches remain, they would be happy to replace the screen for about $500.

Not sure what material those are made of Jim, but I use a product called Plexus on my bike windscreen. It was originally developed for use on aircraft windshields and other plexiglass surfaces. Works VERY well at filling light scratches

You should be able to find it at your local bike shop.
