What's the very FIRST movie?

I think it was Ian Fleming's James Bond vs "Dr. No"

That was in 1963. I was eight and my father took me to see it.

I may have seen other kiddie movies before that one (Santa Claus Conquers the Martians?), but I can't remember anything about them. Maybe 'cause Ursula Andress wasn't in any of those other movies.

Mine was the Sound Of Music or at least that is as far back as I can remember

Love Story is still one of my favorites, cry my eyes out every time I watch it!

My parents (the preachers) never let us to go "the movies" tho we could watch them on TV (which we didnt' get until i was 12). My g/f & her mom took me to love story as a birthday present.. 6 months later i moved out from my parent's house and to NYC by myself.

I'd say "Love Story" was a turning point for me.
