Way back when speech synthesis was a new thing, one of my uncles got a new computer for his printing business. Computers did not switch themselves off back then, they just shut down and left you with a message to switch off the computer, and this one did it with a vocal announcement. Someone in the office changed the close down announcement so that when anyone tried to shut the computer down it said "You can't do that Dave". Apparently it scared the hell out of one member of staff.

ROFL .. thats too funny. Bet it was fun back in the day when people really did'nt know or where scared of PC's.
