Torn please tell those of us that don't have HBO more.
what's "Barely-Legal Biden for President" about? I've lost all respect for Keary and Clinton now that they have both whored themselves by spouting religouse BS and being soft on Illegal Immigrants. What they should be hollering is take the Cathlic Churches Tax Exempt Status away for incourageing contempt of the laws and borders of The United States and slamming the Republicans for being so friggin soft on employing illegal's. "These guys are the most incompetent people I've ever seen in Washington in all the time I've been in public life," Kerry said via teleconference to the National Action Network, an advocacy group founded by Al Sharpton. "The problem with it is their incompetence is hurting people, it's hurting real people." Kerry criticized a House bill that would punish those who aid illegal immigrants and argued that the GOP had adopted a hard line on the issue to depress voter turnout. He echoed recent comments of a potential presidential rival, Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, who said last month that the bill would penalize "even Jesus himself." Regan gave amnesty to 4 million in 1984 and said it was a one time thing. Now in 2006 their talking about amnesty for 12 million, Bull Shit, fine the fuck out of the employers, round up the Illegal Immigrants and drop their asses off at the border. There is no shortage of hispanics that would love to live and work legaly in the United States under a revised guest worker program. The way I would like to see the guest worker program setup is mandatory basic english, stop the automatic citizenship for children born in the US to non US Citizens and ship their asses back home when they retire so our children aren't stuck paying their medical bills. Woops guess I got a little off topic, but it felt good to vent about one of my pet peeves

He's been reelected 5 times since 1972, when he was first sworn. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a video clip or transcript of Bill Maher's show available, but some facts are here... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Biden Imagine having a president who's also been an adjunct professor, teaching a seminar on constitutional law for the last 15 years. In his spare time. Instead of clearing brush at the ranch. This might be a chance to get someone in the job who has been trained to think. One thing mentioned on Bill's show was how it's been said the Biden's weakness is that he tends to talk too long. Bill's comment on that was that it was a good thing, and that he hopes Biden keeps doing that, because some things take more words than you can put in a 30-second soundbite. I wish I could point you to somewhere that you could see how he handled himself on the panel, but since I can't, I'll just say that I came away from watching it thinking that Biden has a more complete set of clues than I've seen in a politician in a long time. And yes, his direct answer to the first question really did set the tone for the rest. Simon
