Beagle 2 missed the 2nd call in oppurtunity. Little fella is probably eaten by Mars. Next chance at 1:15 pm friday.

Bush definitely wants mars to be dead, dead, dead. Life on mars would be a kick in the balls to the competing monotheisms.

I was hoping the brits would pull off a coup. Give we americans something to think about and get excited about. Something to be proud of, if we did better in space again. Not to mention that for every dollar we spend on space research we get hundreds of potential dollars worth of new technology.

Then everybody can buy more porn, and we webmaster types all get richer. ;-}
