Actually those laws weren't created mainly out of hate, even though hatred maintained them. They came out economics and not wanting to enslave whites. When the colonies were starting white indenture servants and what few slaves there were lived side by side and created social units. They were afraid that if they started to intermarry and have children (especially since the child carries the mother's status) that it would turn people off to slavery.

They were too high minded to want to enslave their own kind. They justified indenturing their own kind since it was a "payment" plan. Even though as soon as a female had a child, her service was extended due to the cost of the child and then the child itself had to make payment through service. Creating several generations of indenture families until slave out took it by shear numbers.
