Email Virus?

I must be doing something right - just don't know what...

In my entire on-line life of over 7 years I only once had a virus, and that was delivered with pre-installed software from a computer vendor (Great Service)! About 2 weeks ago I got hit for the first time by this spyware thing (see prev. post which might have disappeared with board crash), and I never had much trouble with spam emails. Forgot to empty my mail box yesterday, so today there were 2 emails = that's it from 2 days...
