Are you sure it's a rollback to just a couple of days back? Several of the keywords that I had got a top3 position in the past month seemed to have moved to the 2nd/3rd pages.
On the other hand, one of my blogs that managed to get most of it's pages in supplemental results is now coming out on the first/second pages. A major spike in google traffic to the tune of 2k extra visitors yesterday for this site.
Overall, I hope you are right and it's not a change in their algorithm. I sent 5k less hits yesterday to sponsors than my daily average
