Thanks guys for your comments, have continued to work on the site and hope have addressed your points. Any further suggestions/comments/criticisms gratefully received.

I don't know if this will get you declined, but for future reference, you're missing a doctype decleration.
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> Header tags, like keywords, description, etc. are helpful too. And I'd suggest adding some text to the main page. Text sells. Banners just look pretty. ![]()

The doctype decleration should be the first line of code on your page. That's what I use on all my pages, but there are other variations.
Feel free to use it, if you like. It comes standard in dreamweaver. ![]()
