I dont worry about who they want to be listed with. When I build my first free site mirror (the one with all the big lists on it) I put them on there based on how much traffic they have sent me. I open up my webstats and work right down the list. I also put 3 random smaller sites on free site mirror 1. That gives me my top 12 referrers and 3 randomly picked smaller sites. The rest of my free site mirror recips are picked totally randomly. I just grab em randomly and put them in the table. If a site wants to be listed with the big link lists they should be listed there because they send alot of surfers, not because they demand it. Thats not fair to the big lists or to the smaller ones that dont demand it.

I had to cut a couple lists because they got greedy.
 I usually group sites based on my own personal feelings. I take my time to absorb all things about a LL: traffic, PR, other submitters, number of backlinks, how long my site will be listed, how I'm being linked too... etc. But all that information is just too much to form some sort of rational decision. So I tend to just go at it intuitively, and then purposefully mix things up just to see what happens.

Ok, thanks guys,
I'll try to keep the top ones together then. That makes most sense I guess. And then I'll spread them out randomly after that.
