Hot linked

Hi all just a quick heads up to advise i have been hotlinked on a recip for megapornlinks by ladypushporn.com on a free site http://www.ladypushporn.com/bustynreal/huge/

This doesn't affect me beyond the bandwidth and i have a htaccess file that stops the image being displayed but if anyone knows who links2freeporn.com is, they are also being hotlinked for a megapornlinks image on this freesite http://www.ladypushporn.com/footsiebabes/absolutely/ and their htaccess if they have one, is allowing the image to be displayed.

I would guess this is probably just a dumb mistake where they have copied the image from my site instead of getting it from megapornlinks and then instead of serving the link through their own domain they haven't remembered to alter the link and save the image.
I have emailed ladypushporn and advised i have posted this here and that i want the hotlinked image amending. Should be interesting to see the reply...

Somehow I dont belive in such 'dumb mistakes' - especially if they recur...
also I guess your htaccess doesnt work as I see those hotlinked images on both sites

Are you seeing the image on the free site itself or have you copied the link to a new page?
If you did this you will see the image because it would link direct from my domain.
Other people have looked at the free site and they didn't see the image that hotlinks to my domain. They are using IE if this makes any difference. If anyone using a different browser can see the image being hotlinked can you let me know please.

I see it as blocked on the first site where the image is hotlinked from blue-candy.com. Just the text showing up here.

Uhm thats weird... maybe I've it cached or something.
While ago I hotlinked ads from one of my domains and entered , instead of . in htaccess - all ads looked fine on my computer but few days later I was told by few friends that they are not showing up... yet then I realized my mistake

Some of the stupid shit people do is astounding

Using FF, opened sites in new windows...recips show up on both.

It's already fixed.
Sorry about that.

I uploaded these recips on my server but when I was copying code from those free sites (I couldn't find those recips on megaporn links site) I forgot to change SRC link in IMG tag.
That's the whole story.

I'm a newbie and make mistakes...
Once again SORRY.

Thank you for the reply Lady Push, I also recieved your email regarding this and appreciate your apology, the quick response and the removal of the hotlink.

The matters closed in my opinion so i can get back to the deck... Still got a way to go but its looking good. I've got emmy on the case while i'm just getting a 5min break

Thanks for the heads up about FF Mr Yum

I'll look into that and alter my htaccess to suit.

I usually check my sites using IE and Netscape. Does anyone know if there are any issues with running FF as well as the two above, from the same pc?
