I thought that Exel would be good, but I am just no good with spread sheets. Oh well maybe I will give it a go and see what comes out.

The beauty of an excel spreadsheet is that at any moment I can expand on the data I collect, and recompile it to suit my needs.

Sometimes I make 2 or even three entries for every recorded transaction. Because I do it by hand, I make sure it's quick and easy for me to record the data in a format I understand. As a result, I spend more time making decisions and acting on them, and spend less time analyzing stats in fancy charts and graphs that really don't tell me much.
