Warning Page?

How come most LL, TGP and others have an index.html warning page, but I have not seen one on any blogs. I don't think is that hard to do, is it?
Or is there a different reason for it?

Actually my own experience is that not that many TGPs have a warning page...especially the thumb TGPs. More link list do than don't, but there are quite a number of LLs that don't have them either. As to blogs, not really sure as I don't have much experience with blogs yet.

The reason why would be the same as any other adult site...offering at least an attempt at filtering out those that don't want to see adult content.

I have warning pages on my TGPs, it's just good form. I need to tweak the setup on my blog to have one too.

I think one of the reasons that most blogs don't have a warning page is that the way WordPress installs it assumes that the blog homepage will be index.php in the install folder. If that's the domain root, adding a warning page requires a bit of work.

Well, I think under options you can set the homepage of Wordpress anywhere you want, so I don't think that would be a big problem.

Anyway, so it is not a bad idea to have a warning page for a blog.

Thanks, I think I will have one.

Here's a plugin that should make adding a warning page pretty easy to do with an existing blog

In the future, I figured I'd just dump my blog script one dir deep, and keep my warning page a static HTML.
