it's getting cold as hell here in motown philly, but no snow

but mostly no internet either as my isp is moving and upgrading this week til monday so it's on and off.....

Glad to hear you guys are back up and running! I had spoke too soon yesterday, it went out again. I got a gas generator up and running and we got turned back on tonight about 8pm. I guess we are fortunate compared to others who will be out until next week.

My wife is bitching about getting a generator now. The longest ours has gone out here has been about 12 hours in the last 40+ years of me living here.

Although a generator is nice to have, it's not something you are going to use much. My parents got one during the ice storm and they haven't used it since. We were without power for a week and it was damn cold.

I think a generator is one of those things that you wish you had when you need it, but when you have it, you never use it. Kinda like insurance

Glad to hear that you guys got your power back!
