I send out rejected/accepted mails from both sites in my sig. Regarding rejected mails I also give a reason if your site is otherwise decent.

Another of the kinder/gentler folks here

I also try to provide a concise reason for the decline

Though I must admit...if it's abundantly clear that it's a spammer or other nefarious type, they get nothing but a boot to the blacklist. Been getting slammed with finance/meds/insurance spam sites lately

I do as well, but by default they are turned off in your user panel on my submit page. After you log in, all you have to do is click the change link and you will get both accept/reject emails.

unfixable problems = you can't fix stupid.
I do the same, they just get a rejection email with no reason. Which more often than not does not get read, just like the rules.
