What do you hope to achieve by spending your time, and money, working on this site? What do you want?

Personally, I've made more money on warning pages for sites that have them then on any other page, even excluding "freesites" submitted to link lists. I tend to treat them as ad spaces to push paysites. I don't like to waste a paying customer by pushing them directly towards free porn listings when I can send them to a sponsor first.

I don't know of any hard rules that specify whether or not a site needs a warning page. I only know that, as a business model, warning pages have worked well for me.

But other ways of doing business do work differently.

Keep in mind, just because you have a warning page doesn't mean you're forced to have everyone link to that warning page exclusively.

Well, if you're goal is to give surfers the free stuff right away, don't worry about using a warning page. You are not required by law to show a warning. However, a warning page at the root of your domain is considered due diligence - a minimal attempt at keeping youthful Christian folk out of your site. Surfers are quite accustomed to seeing them. Keep it clean with a simple and obvious navigation and it won't slow them down by more than a single click.

Excellent examples:
Cleo's
Dave's
DickHead's

I haven't done the math but it looks like 90% of my hits to sponsors come from my warning page. Isn't that the objective, to get the surfer to the sponsor? You're allowed up to three ads there, I use them.

On a free site, yes. But I believe cmentira is talking about adult sites in general, not submitted free sites.
