Jim, so sorry to hear about your loss. It's hard to lose anyone, but a parent is the hardest. These simple things have helped me get through some tough times:
* Find time to grieve - It's a sad time, holding things in only causes stress. * Find time to rejoice - Yes, rejoice. Although it's an extremely sad time, you mother is no longer suffering and is in a better place now. She would want to see you remember the good times and smile from time to time. * Take some "ME" time - One of the hardest things is all the potential pressure of coming to grips with things and trying to handle arraingments. Make sure stop and take a little time for yourself. Trust me, it will keep you sane. Take care Jim, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. -BigJohn |
