Without seeing the rest of the referral info I cant tell which you are seeing, but there are three "basic" types of googlebots - two of them have recently been interchangable - the "fresh" bot which looks for updates to pages and the "deep" bot which is the main indexer of the "entire web"

the third is their image bot which looks for images with alt text or descriptive image names to place in their image search
